- In today’s society family is becoming less and less. The needs of children are not being meet. I know this first hand. My Mother and Father were never married. When I was born my Father was no where to be found and my Mother doing all she can to support. A year later, along comes my brother and once again Father was no where to be found. To make a long story short Father married someone else and they won the custody battle against my Mother. My step mother was far worse than Cinderella's and eventually after 13 yrs of abuse and neglect we ended up in foster care. With a new family, a new school and new friends we began our journey to normality and found out what it was like to be kids and have dreams. With all the struggles of putting our past behind us and learning to be who we were I developed the want and drive to make something great of my life. I began to dream and set goals. I wanted to help all those around me. Often times lacking the support I would fall short, but I would continue on. I would not let myself give up. My ambition and will was strong and thanks to Foster care and people who cared I was able to overcome.

The Start of Something Great
Say What!!? Is this really happening?? My 1st blog post? What should I say??...I'll just start off by saying this, This is both for Me and Not for Me. Very contradicting I know, but isn't life like that sometimes? My hopes for this BlogSpot is to show Foster kids, Troubled Teens and all of US for that matter that we can make it in life! A lot of us struggle, but don't ever give up on your dreams and goals. Do not give into despair and sorrow... "Be positive and you shall receive Positive" Live to Inspire and help one another!
